The Family River Chalet adds a set of super single bunks for a family of four or five. Only two exist, and they share a conjoining balcony that locks separately from either side.

Yes. Every river chalet, family chalet and the quad-share dormitory has its own ensuite bathroom with a hot water rain shower.
The chalets have energy-saving inverter air-conditioning plus a ceiling fan, installed during the 2023 renovation. Please switch them off when you head out on a cruise.
Sixteen rooms, taking a maximum of 45 guests. That is deliberately small for this stretch of the river — it keeps boats uncrowded and mornings quiet.
Yes. The Family River Chalet has a king size bed plus a set of super single bunks and sleeps 4 to 5 with an extra bed. Only two exist, so ask early.
The quad-share dormitory has four super single beds in two bunks. You can book a single bed as a solo traveller, or take the whole chalet as a private 4-bed unit.
No. The lodge is built on a hillside above the river. The closest rooms are 10 to 20 steps from the restaurant and the furthest are around 85 steps. Tell us at the time of booking and we will allocate the closest available room.
All meals are included, from early morning tea before the sunrise cruise through to dinner, along with tea, coffee and drinking water. Cruises and walks come with your package.
